Hi!

I'm Mrs. Petersen and I am so excited to be your teacher this year! Teaching is my absolute passion which makes coming to work every day so much fun. Most of the passion comes from the students, I love creating special bonds with each and every one of my students. 

This will be my ninth year teaching! I started off in 1st grade, taught a 2nd/3rd grade combo, and 3rd grade for 6 years. This will be my second year in 5th and I am beyond excited! 

I grew up in Rocklin, got my bachelors degree at San Jose State, received my masters degree in education at William Jessup, and have most recently achieved my administrative credential. 

I have an amazing husband, Mr. Petersen, who is a high school math teacher and baseball coach at West Park High School in Roseville. We are both very big Dodgers fan and we both love everything baseball! 

Ben and I are the proud parents of our daughter Millie! She is 2.5 years old now and gets cuter and cuter every day! 

I can't wait to get to know all of you and experience this year together :)
