A Cliché (KLEE-SHAY’) is an over-used phrase or expression. Also known as an Idiom.
A Cliché is a group of words that have a special meaning that is different than the literal (what the words actually mean).
Instructions
Choose 3 clichés from the list below.
Draw three different idea sketches (quick, small drawings of your ideas) on one side of a paper. Then have one approved by your teacher with his initials. Enlarge it to full size on the other side of the same paper.
Get your bigger drawing approved with teacher initials to get your final paper and colored pencils.
You must use colored pencils as your medium for your final Colored Pencil with Gradients artwork.
Suggestions:
· Illustrate the meaning of the words as you see them written (the literal meaning)
· Illustrate a combination of both the literal meaning and the actual meaning
It is important to use- neatness, balance, gradients, foreground, background (depth)
