Meet our Committee!

We run with a committee of six, responsible for organisation of all society activities!

President: Jack Tait

Degree:

3rd year Chemistry student

Favourite Clarinet Choir piece:

Definitely High Hopes by P!ATD, because I arranged it so it's clearly the best! (secretly my favourite is Don't Stop Believin' because of our amazing impromptu performance of it with a choir last year, but don't tell anyone)

Secretary: Rachael Moffat

Degree:

Favourite Clarinet Choir piece:

It's hard to pick a favourite between How To Train Your Dragon and Insecta Clarinetistae but nothing quite compares to playing Vengaboys on clarinet...

Favourite Clarinet Choir piece:

Jupiter because we all worked so hard to get it right and it has some nice memories with it (and I love space)

Abbie Lear

Degree:

3rd year Chemistry student

Favourite Clarinet Choir piece:

The Lone Ar-ranger which is especially fun when the 3rds play it slightly faster than we're used to

Rebecca Pimblett

Degree:

2nd year Physics and Music student

Favourite Clarinet Choir piece:

Sway (Quién Séra) because it reminds me what a smooth bunch of jazzy people we are, and it’s got rhythms that you can’t help but bop along to.

Social Secretary: Megan Campbell

Degree:

3rd year Geophysics and Geology student

Favourite Clarinet Choir piece:

Iron Maiden because it highlights the amazing talent of being able to arrange a piece but also fusing together rock and clarinets... who wouldn't love that!!
