What is Apollo Athena?

Apollo Athena is a service club! It was created with the intention of serving South High and the South Bay.

What do we do?

As members we help out at community events and support charitable causes: we help out at school events (South's, Walteria's, Richardson's, Arnold's, etc.) and other events from organizations in our community (the Lomita Railroad Museum Foundation, Torrance Crafter's Guild, etc.)!

Why you should join!!

Apollo Athena is a chance for you to get involved with South High and the community and earn volunteer hours. Volunteering can increase your appreciation for the community as well as increase social awareness and responsibility. Apollo Athena offers various opportunities to make new friends and expand your social circle! We have lots of great activities/events planned and we'd love for you to be a part of it :)

How to join:

Every semester, we'll have a Google Form for you to apply to our club! You'll then get scheduled for an interview with one of our lovely board members the following week. Next application: Semester 1 of '26-'27.

*Active members from Semester 2 (Spring 2026) do NOT need to reapply, inactive members must reapply*

The next opportunity to join our club will be at the beginning of Fall Semester 2026! Keep an eye out at the start of the school year.
