At HHES we strive to build positive relationships with each student, every day and strive to meet the varying needs of each student whether it be academic, social-emotional, behavioral, etc. We focus on a "Culture of Learning" that involves the 7 Habits of Happy Kids and a positive Growth Mindset approach. Our students are involved in goal setting, service, leadership and student led conferences.

Supply List
Please know that you may drop off supplies when you pick up the materials the week of Aug. 17 (more details to come) OR you may keep those items at home until your student returns to in person instruction.

2 pkg #2 Ticonderoga Pencils
1 pkg of Paper Mate pink pearl erasers (not cap erasers-3 big pink erasers)
2 packs of Elmer’s glue sticks (not large they dry out too quickly) 1 pair Fiskars scissors
3 boxes Crayola crayons (24 count)
1 pkg BLACK Expo dry erase markers (8 count)
1 pkg highlighters (any color)
2 composition notebooks (100 sheets black/white) 1
bookbag with no wheels
1 red plastic 2 pocket folder with prongs in middle
1 blue plastic 2 pocket folder with prongs in middle
Boys: 2 boxes quart Ziploc bags, 3 containers Clorox wipes (if you can’t find Clorox wipes a large bottle of sanitizing spray will be fine)
Girls: 2 boxes gallon Ziploc bags, 2 bottles hand sanitizer, 1 pkg paper plates
3 boxes of Kleenex
3 rolls of paper towels

Google Classroom - GC
Students will join Google Classroom by accepting the invitation sent to their email from their teacher OR by using their school email & using
the following code: knu2t5m
Student Email
Each student has a school email account. We will use this to communicate with students about assignments that are posted on Google Classroom.
Student emails will generally follow this format:
firstname.lastname@stu.etown.kyschools.us
Password: hhes#### (lunch number)
Infinite Campus - IC
If you do not have a parent account or student account please reach out to gayla.bernard@etown.kyschools.us as soon as possible to create your account. This is the ABSOLUTE BEST AND EASIEST way to keep up with your student's grades and missing/incomplete work.
