Head Sophomore Coach
Stacey Moragne Jr., an Evanston Township alum, returns to lead the program he once proudly played for. A former standout at UMass Lowell, Coach Moragne earned national recognition as a two-time NCAA Division II All-American, two-time First Team selection, and two-time conference & region Player of the Year.
After graduating UML with a Business degree, he played professionally for five years overseas, primarily in Israel, gaining invaluable international experience and a global perspective on the game.
In addition to coaching at ETHS, Coach Moragne actively trains and mentors numerous professional athletes, helping them refine their skills and elevate their performance. His commitment to player development extends beyond high school and into all levels of the sport.
As the Sophomore HC and Varsity assistant for ETHS basketball, Coach Moragne brings passion, discipline, and a player-first mindset. He is dedicated to developing well-rounded student-athletes and building a strong, team-centered culture rooted in hard work and Evanston pride.
