Varsity Assistant
Entering his twelfth season as an assistant coach at Evanston Township High School, Rudy Meo has been a vital part of the Wildkits' success under Head Coach Mike Ellis. Since joining the coaching staff in 2013, Meo has helped lead ETHS to three IHSA State Final Four appearances, including a State Runner-Up finish in 2019 and State 3rd Place finishes in 2018 and 2025. During his tenure, the program has posted three 30-win seasons, multiple 20-win campaigns, and earned numerous Regional, Sectional, and Super-Sectional Championships.
A proud ETHS alum, Meo was a two-time All-Conference and All-State selection who led his team in scoring, rebounding, three-point shooting, and nearly every major statistical category as a senior. He went on to play Division I basketball in the Big West Conference at the University of California – Riverside, followed by a professional season with the San Diego Sol of the ABA.
Off the court, Meo is deeply committed to youth development in Evanston. He serves as Director of Evanston Feeder Basketball and helps lead Powerhouse Sports, while also serving on the board of two nonprofit organizations: Kuumba Evanston and the OAR Scholarship Fund.
Professionally, Meo is the Director of Business Services at ETHS and holds an MBA from Western Governors University.
