Art Magazine Club

We stove to make high school a little more bearable by conducting uplifting campaigns, activities, and events because it's the little things in life that make a difference. The main goal for the Art Magazine Club is for artists/writers or ANYONE to publish their creativeness and get inspiration! The members of this club will be able to review famous pieces of art, apply for art contests where their artworks will be published in magazines, visit virtual museum tours, as well as write reviews for local art shows. We also hope to find guest speakers who would be willing to talk about their journey through art.

Are you interested in Art? Then C.A.T. Club (Creating Art Together), is just the place for you! It's a safe place for all different types of artists to come together and do interdisciplinary projects; we hope to see you at our first meeting!

Culinary Club

To teach people to cook with ingredients they have and to advance their cooking skills, techniques, we also want to further their interest in food.

To promote Hip Hop/ JRock/ Jpop Dancing.

To help promote an interest in Drama.

Green Society Club

We lead helping hand in cleansing our environment and help raise awareness about current environmental issues, such as climate change, drought, pollution, and greenhouse gas emissions, through community service and fundraising and awareness events.

Homework Helpers

Aims to provide free tutoring and homework help to those who need it; we will reach out to local elementary schools as well as students on the LTB tutoring platform and set up tutoring sessions with them.

Lion Dance Club

To share the culture of Hok San Style lion dancing within the Silver Creek High School community, teaching students how to dance, play instruments, and perform.

Maker Club

Promote a creative and collaborative community based around teaching how to use tools and technology to engage in a number of hands on projects, and build and maintain a makerspace that houses various equipment

Model RC (Radio Controlled) Club

To provide a fun and interactive learning experience with radio controlled vehicles and objects while dwelling into the history of radio control. In addition to demonstrating RC control prowess in possible competitions.

Poetry Club

Create a safe space for students to share their poetry works or art in an extremely supportive environment.

We want to make a club where students can join, explore video games, and create a safe community for gamers.

SCHS Book Club

Self-Defense Club

The goal is to teach students how to defend themselves so that they can safely escape violent situations. Before going to college, where many students may live on their own, it is important to be able to think quickly in dangerous situations, considering that violence is very common nowadays. Our club will teach students skills such as wrist releases, blocks, ways to escape sexual harassment, and more! The best part is that members learn such defensive tactics. Additionally, martial arts is also a great form of exercise, so it will help get you in shape as well.

Silver Creek K-Pop Club

The sole purpose of the club is for students to bond together over their love for k-pop. We prepare performances and more!
