Music Appreciation

Description: This is a non-performance-

based course. This class will explore the

elements of music as they are used in a

variety of musical styles - historical and

contemporary. Students will develop an

understanding of the nature and structure

of music as well as its expressive qualities.

Students will learn to value, understand and

appreciate all types of music.
