Rodney Burrell is a paraprofessional who works as a teacher assistant in Special Education classes and regular education classes. He is the head Cross Country coach at Lincoln Middle School, accomplishing several athletes advancing to the IESA State Series and Athletic Director over all sports activities. He is a former head coach for girls basketball where he took the team to its first state competition finishing 8th place. He has also coached boys Track and Field where he helped win numerous State titles. He is an Assistant Coach with East St Louis Senior High School Boys Track and Field helping win several state championships.He is a Christian attending Centreville Church of Christ that has helped him to be an inspiring Christian man loving to help young people create a life through school and sports. Encouraging is the biggest goal for making a difference and putting yourself in others shoes. He has multiple hobbies. The list consists of fishing, playing pool, three perfect 300 bowling games and several League championships, roller skating, golfing, exercising, audio mixing music and sound, video games, and many others.
