We are expanding our network and seeking experienced Field Inspectors to partner with us as independent contractors. If you possess expertise in property surveys, particularly with experience related to Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae standards, we encourage you to connect with us.
As a Field Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting detailed evaluations of commercial and residential properties across NYC and the surrounding areas. Your assignments will encompass a variety of critical survey types, including property condition assessments, occupancy verification, insurance, mortgage, banking, and construction progress inspections. Your accurate reporting is vital for assessing asset quality, identifying risks, and highlighting opportunities for enhancement.
This role requires travel to various property locations. While public transportation may be viable for assignments within NYC, reliable automobile transportation is essential for fieldwork in the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibilities will involve performing thorough visual inspections (exterior and interior) and meticulously documenting your findings. This is submitted through comprehensive reports and photographic evidence via our dedicated application. Specific tasks include:
Conducting visual surveys and documenting property conditions with clear photographic evidence via our application.
Performing inspections and reporting on the condition of common areas within properties.
Executing surveys and providing detailed reports on individual rental units.
Inspecting and reporting on the status and condition of building mechanical systems.
Conducting surveys and reporting on accessible flat, walk-on roofing systems, strictly adhering to safety protocols.
Reporting on observed property operating procedures.
Identifying and reporting on potential equipment issues, problems, and defects.
Observing and reporting on the maintenance of a clean and safe environment during inspections
all work orders are expected back by end of the business day once assigned by 11 am EST if assigned after 11 am the assignments are expected back by 9 am the following day.
