Accounting and Management Control Department

The Accounting and Management Control Department at ESSEC Business School organizes a research seminars series which attracts recognized researchers from Europe, North-America and beyond.

Besides regular research seminars, each year the department welcomes a Distinguished Guest Scholar to engage with its faculty members over several days. In the last years, Prof. Naomi Soderstrom (University of Melbourne), Prof. Katherine Schipper (Duke University), Prof. Wai Fong Chua (University of Sydney), and Prof. Christian Leuz (University of Chicago) have been among those distinguished guests. Moreover, together with the Accounting and Management Control Department at HEC Paris we co-organize a yearly research workshop. At this one-day- event, faculty members and PhD students present their working papers and benefit from the comments made by an assigned discussant.
