RULES & REGULATIONS

1. This tournament is strictly open to non-professional players, and all participants must not hold a BAM ID (Badminton Association of Malaysia), must not have represented any state or country in any tournament, and must not have participated in MSSM state-level competitions or SUKMA (SUKMA).

2. Any player found violating the above eligibility rules will be automatically disqualified without any refund.

3. All registrations must be submitted via Google Form, and entries will only be considered valid once full payment has been received.

4. All registration fees are strictly non-refundable.

5. The registration closing date is 22 May 2026 (Friday).

6. Each player is allowed to participate in a maximum of two categories.

7. The draw list will be released within two to three days after the closing date.

8. All payments must be made to UNICO PLUS MARKETING via Hong Leong Bank (Account No.: 22200006091).

9. Player age will be determined based on the year of birth for 2026, and for example, a player born in 2010 will be considered 16 years old regardless of the month of birth.

10. All protests must be submitted at least three days before the tournament begins, and no protests will be entertained once the tournament has started.

11. A deposit of RM200 is required for any protest, and this amount will only be refunded if the protest is successful.

12. All matches will be called ten minutes before the scheduled time.

13. All participants are required to register themselves before their first match.

14. Participants should arrive at the venue at least one hour before their match starts.

15. If a participant fails to report to the assigned court within five minutes or after three calls by the referee, the match will be declared a walkover.

16. The organiser reserves the full right to make any last-minute changes to ensure the smooth running of the tournament.

17.Matches will begin from the Round of 64, 32, 16 or Quarter Final depending on the category, and will be held on 30 May 2026.Semi Final, Final & 3 on 3 match will be held on 31 May 2026.

18. From the early rounds up to the semi-finals, matches will be played as a single game to 30 points with no deuce, and players will change sides at 15 points.

19. The final will be played in a best-of-three format, with each game played to 21 points.

20. In the Veteran category (combined age 80+), all participants must be aged 35 or above.

21. In the 3-on-3 category, mixed-gender teams are allowed.

22. Each match will be provided with only two shuttlecocks, except for the final match.
