The Gender Equity Cell at Swami Vipulananda Institute of Aesthetic Studies celebrated International Women's Day on March 22, 2024. Professor F.B. Kenedy chaired the event, with Mrs. Sharanya Ravikumar as the chief guest. Mrs. Kirubanjana Kethees and her team coordinated the event. It was a celebration of women's achievements and contributions, emphasizing the importance of gender equality and empowerment.

The career guidance unit of Swami Vipulananda Institute of Aesthetic Studies organized workshop titled on "soft skills for success " on 21.2.2024 at Rajadurai auditorium.
Prof. Rohan Nethsinghe, Vice-Chancellor, University of the Visual & Performing Arts conducted a workshop titled "Enhancing Research Writing Skills" on 14.02.2024 at Swamy Vipulananda Institute of Aesthetic Studies, Eastern University, Sri Lanka. The workshop was organized by the Staff Development Centre of the institute. The session provided insights related to STEAM education, backward design, research documentaries and other essential research writing skills for performing arts practitioners.
Students from Carnatic music ,Swami Vipulanda Institute of Aesthetic studies had a collaborative event with students from Department of Ethnomusicology ,University of Visual and Performing Art on 14.02.2024 at Rajadurai Auditorium ,SVIAS. The event was organized by department of carnatic music ,SVIAS.

The Gender Equity&Equality Cell of Swamy Vipulananda Institute of Aesthetic Studies organized a workshop titled "Drug Abuse and its Implications among University Students" on 31.1.2024.from 2 p.m to 4 p.m. at Rajadurai auditorium.Mr. P. Thinesh, District Coordinator, Drug Prevention & Control Unit, District Secretariat, Batticaloa served as the resource person of this workshop. The session was highly interactive and provided a new perspective that generated a thought-provoking discussion among the participants.
Records of the event Sringar (Indian Traditional Dance Forms ) held on 30.01.2024 at Rasathurai Auditorium, SVIAS ,EUSL . The event was organized by SVIAS in collaboration with ICCR , Indian High commission , Colombo, Srilanka.
