About The Panelists

Akanksha

Akanksha Aga is the Experience Director at FLIK Hospitality. She drives service strategy and creates custom engagement plans based on the needs of the client and FLIK. Akanksha started her career with the Taj Group of Hotels. Prior to that she was the Associate Director-Employer Relations at Johnson & Wales University. She has an MBA in Hospitality Management and a Bachelor’s in Hotel Management. She's a member of the Women’s Foodservice Forum and mentor for the National Society of Minorities in Hospitality.

Liz

Liz Murray is the Director of HR & Communications for The Marlow Collective, Andrew Tarlow's Brooklyn dining empire, and previously managed People Operations for USHG at Gramercy Tavern. She is also a co-founder of Women in Hospitality United, a non-profit organization dedicated to reimagining the hospitality industry, and sits on the Board of Directors of the NYC Hospitality Alliance. She lives in Brooklyn with her dog, Gristle Trout.

Eduardo

Eduardo Sanabia is the CPO of ThinkFoodGroup. Prior, he was an executive at Marriott International and Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. His passion for HR led him to return to his home country, the Dominican Republic, to build his own consulting firm providing organization development expertise. He has a B. S. in Hotel & Restaurant Management, an M.B.A, and a Graduate Certificate in Organization Development. He lives in VA with his wife, Gina and three children.

Rachael (Moderator)

Rachael Nemeth is the CEO and Co-founder of ESL Works, a startup that delivers work-focused English and communication training technology to the food industry. A 15-year industry veteran, she managed people and operations at some of NYC’s most respected businesses including USHG and Hot Bread Kitchen. She began teaching English to food industry employees 10 years ago as a volunteer. Since then, she’s been on a mission to develop better, more accessible communication tools for everyone.
