Y2-8 Barefoot 7's Rugby Tournament

We are looking to enter some teams into a Barefoot 7's Rugby Tournament in Week 4 of Term 2.  This is a really popular Tournament involving schools from all over Hawkes Bay. We are organising it now so that teams can hopefully have practices beforehand. Please note: This is tackle rugby so children should have some prior experience in this and children are placed in teams according to weight not age.

When: Thursday May 23rd 2024

Time: tbc

Where: Akina Park, Hastings

Transport: Cars

Grades: Done by weight - unfortunately we may not be able to enter teams if there are not enough children of similar weight

• Tournament is played in bare feet

• Teams organised by child's weight

• Students will need their morning tea, lunch and a filled drink bottle

• 7-aside competition 

• Referees provided, but parents are required to manage a team on the day
