Mrs. Jessica James is the librarian for W.S. Neal High School. She has been teaching since 2004. Mrs. James lives in Brewton with her husband Ken and their daughter, Kenslee.
Mrs. James loves reading, watching tv, spending time outdoors, and cheering for her beloved W.S. Neal Blue Eagles and Alabama Crimson Tide. Click below to learn more.

Experience
Mrs. James began her teaching career at W.S. Neal Elementary in 2004 where she taught until 2009. While at WSNES, Mrs. James taught kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade.
Mrs. James transferred to W.S. Neal Middle School in 2009 where she taught 5th grade Reading/Language Arts for seven years.
In 2016, Mrs. James transferred back to W.S. Neal Elementary School where she served as the school librarian until transferring to W.S. Neal High School for the 2018-2019 school year.
Honors
Mrs. James was selected for the initial cohort of the Network for Alabama Teaching Fellows at the State Department of Education. The NATF connected Alabama classrooms with education policymakers to share good education ideas from across the state. Mrs. James was one of 22 teachers in Alabama chosen for the cohort.
