This is a free service that instantly translates words, phrases, and web pages between English and over 100 other languages. 

The Google Translate Extension 

• • • • View translations easily as you browse the web. By the Google Translate team.

      • Highlight or right-click on a section of text and click on the Translate icon next to it to translate it to your language. Or, to translate the entire page you're visiting, click the translate icon on the browser toolbar.

Compliance

Privacy Policy (extension is under a different privacy policy than the google for education privacy policy)

• Parent permission required for use with students under 18.

• There is no specific language about data ownership in relation to the "Other Google Services" that this extension falls under. District owns data for the embedded Translate service within the Google "Core Services".

• No breach notification clause.
