Secondary Conference: Will Richardson

Will Richardson has spent the last dozen years developing an international reputation as a leading thinker and writer about the intersection of social online learning networks and education. He was one of a handful of original education bloggers ( and his work has appeared in numerous journals, newspapers, and magazines such as Ed Leadership, District Administration, Education Week, The New York Times and English Journal. In 2017, he was named one of 100 global "Changemakers in Education" by the Finnish site HundrED. A former public school educator of 22 years, Will is a co-founder of Modern Learner Media and co-publisher of and creator of Change.School.

Will has authored five books, most recently From Master Teacher to Master Learner (2015, Solution Tree Press). In total, his books have sold over 150,000 copies worldwide.

Literacy Conference: Amy Benjamin

Amy Benjamin is a nationally-recognized consultant specializing in improving student performance through literacy in all subject areas. Amy has given workshops, courses, and keynotes throughout the United States and Canada. She is a member of the professional development network of the National Council of Teachers of English.

Amy is an advisor to major educational publishers including Holt McDougal, McGraw Hill, and the College Board.

Prekindergarten Conference: Dan St. Romain

Dan is a national educational consultant who provides staff development and consultative services to educators K-12. Dan is passionate about helping individuals shift their perspective on behavior, understanding the best ways to provide support given the challenges posed in today’s society. After receiving his Masters of Education, Dan worked in both private residential and public school settings. His work as a self-contained behavior unit teacher, Educational Diagnostician, and Director of a Learning Resource Center afforded him experience at all levels, in both general and special education settings.

Dan’s consultative experience comes from his work as an Educational Specialist for the Education Service Center in San Antonio, Texas. Currently, Dan works for the Alamo Heights Independent School District as a behavior consultant where his primary responsibility is to support students’ social and emotional development.

Elementary Conference: A.J. Juliani

A.J. Juliani is the co-author of LAUNCH: Using Design Thinking to Boost Creativity and Bring Out the Maker in Every Student. A.J. Juliani is a leading educator in the area of innovation, design thinking, and inquiry-based learning. Juliani has worked as a Middle and High School English Teacher, a K-12 Technology Staff Developer, educational consultant for ISTE; and educational speaker. A.J. is currently the Director of Technology and Innovation for Centennial School District.

A.J. is the author of books centered around student-agency, choice, innovative learning, and engagement. As a parent of four young children, A.J. believes we must be intentional about innovation in order to create a better future of learning for all of our students.
