Here They Come!

Family evening out to enjoy the book, Here They Come! read by Author and Illustrator David Hyde Costello. David brings the story alive with his reading. He is joined by a puppet friend and engages children with his illustrations the children are able to help create.

Family Yoga with Sweet Roots

Begins MONDAY, OCTOBER 15th

  • MONDAYS, 5 Sessions - 9:30-10:15 a.m.

LOCATION: Wendell Library, 7 Wendell Depot Rd.

Yoga is a great way to teach mindfulness, body awareness, breathing techniques and more. The program is ideal for kids age 2-5, however we are flexible. Baby siblings always welcome. In this class we use engaging music to take kids through movements and postures, we sing familiar songs as we add yoga poses, we take trips around the room to find different animals and do their poses, we develop fun obstacle courses and more! FREE with registration through Union #28 Community Network for Children (CNC) Program.

Creative Movement

Mondays: November 26, December 5 & 10

From: 9:00 – 9:45am

Location: SWIFT RIVER SCHOOL, 201 WENDELL ROAD, NEW SALEM

Anna Hendricks will provide a free, lively, 3 part series for children 2-5 years of age with a caregiver present.

In this class we will explore and discover what our bodies can do while building physical skills and having fun dancing together.

Ages 2-5 and their care givers

Non-toxic, nature-based materials inspired by books. Healthy snack time too!

Come play and create with your child. No fee, but registration required.
