Returning to the second half of this school year the expectation remains that there is likely to be disruption to regular learning environments. Teacher shortages, student absences and potential, temporary class closures seem likely to continue for the time being.
In this session we explore a few of the ways that Promethean can be used to support these mixed learning situations.
Some of these ways include:
Incorporating online conferencing tools like MS Teams and Google Meet
Sharing student content remotely or socially distanced in the classroom with Screen Share
Receiving answers from all learners no matter where they have joined using Classflow Polling
Recording lessons and instructions using the Screen and Sound Recorders in ActivInspire
There are numerous online tools for teachers to bring polling into the classroom, but did you know that as a Promethean customer there is one that you can use with full features free of charge?
Enter Classflow.co.uk!
After registering for your free teacher account on Classflow you can easily connect student devices using your Open Class Code to gather answers/comments/feedback from your learners no matter where they are located.
ClassFlow Activities are fun and engaging resources that are created in the ClassFlow Activity Builder. You can find ready-made activities in the ClassFlow Marketplace, or you can customise your own with 10 different types of activities in the Activity Builder.
In this session we explore the Activity Builder and now to share these with your students. Perfect for reinforcement or consolidation of learning both in class and out!
Tired of having to click in and out of windows and links to videos, webpages, and other documents during a lesson? Wishing there was a way to make this slicker and more engaging for your learners?
ActivInspire can become a lesson hub and hold all these links within a flipchart, so with one click you can move between resources easily and keep your learners’ attention and engagement for longer.
Looking to take your ActivInspire flipcharts to the next level?
Make them into a resource hub for your lessons by embedding media directly into the flipchart so there is no more clicking in and out, and no more lost learners!
Watch below to be amazed at what can be embedded, and how this can improve flow and engagement in your lessons!
ActivInspire Activities are a quick, easy way to add additional engagement to your lessons. With ten different activity types to choose from, they’re an ideal way to help students practice skills and concepts, no matter your age, stage, or content area.

Your Promethean ActivPanel comes with pre-installed Classroom Essential apps. One of which is the Spinner App! This app enables you to create and use random generators which can be applied to a multitude of learning situations in the classroom.
In this final webinar of the school year, we are going take a closer look at the spinner; how to access/open/edit/customise, and then explore some of the different, creative ways that it can be used to keep your learners engaged and motivated until the end of the year.
