Ednovate South LA College Prep

Ednovate's South LA College Prep opened in 2020 and welcomed its second 9th grade class last year. No academic data is currently available. Other Ednovate schools with current data are USC Hybrid High and East College Prep.

South LA College Prep is the newest high school in Ednovate’s network of high-performing, free, public charter schools. We will be opening to our inaugural class of freshmen in August in South LA.

Our school combines personalized learning with a college-prep education in a caring, family-like environment. And we will follow Ednovate’s successful model of combining high expectations in the classroom with strong, personalized, whole-child supports, to make sure our graduates have the academic skills and all-around confidence they need to thrive in and complete college.

South LA College Prep is led by Founding Principal Ally Wright, who has had the honor of serving the community of South LA for the majority of her career. Ms. Wright first joined Ednovate as a ninth-grade reading instructor at USC Hybrid High College Prep, leading the network in reading ACT growth. During her time at Hybrid High, Ms. Wright also served as a member of the Instructional Leadership Team, a talent ambassador, and the 9th Grade Level Lead helping to drive achievement for the entire 9th grade. She is excited to continue impacting students and families in Los Angeles as she transitions into her role as the school leader at South LA College Prep.
