Fraser Mathieson
Fraser started riding horses at the age of 6 as a form of exercise for cerebral palsy, initially at Stirling RDA before this transferred to Bannockburn RDA until its unfortunate closure in 2014. After taken a hiatus of 5 years, Fraser decided to get back into riding, and from the second he sat on the horse, it was clear that his 34 years experience with horses had never left him. Fraser has been competing since 1990, originally at regional level, and in the discipline of dressage has since won countless regional and Scottish titles, and two RDA National titles. Fraser is also an RDA Gold Grade holder, level one coach and certified horse owner at level two. Fraser is a full time IT developer at Miigen, and a representative for Scotland in his other sport of bowls. Fraser begins every day by aiming to be better than the day before, and hopes his experience from RDA and the equestrian world will help other riders in the group see what can be achieved. He is keen to represent participants, and use his experience to help Equi-Power become a leading RDA centre in Scotland. Fraser can be contacted on participation@equi-power.org
