The last day to order a yearbook is February 21, 2020. Please bring cash or check made out to EPHS and deliver to Mrs. Chapman in room 103 or purchase online at jostens.com.
The cost of a yearbook is $80.00.
Volunteer for Unified Bowling
The East Providence Unified Bowling team needs partners. You will be hanging with teenage and adult athletes with special needs to let them know when it is their turn to bowl. Please contact Mrs. Furtado in 119 for more information. You need to be able to attend all these dates:
2/29, 3/7, 3/14, 3/21 from 11:00-1:30 and 3/29 from 12:00-3:00

Prom Dress Giveaway
The Prom Dress Giveaway will take place on Friday, January 24 after school in the aerobics room. Do not miss out on this awesome event. There is a large array of gently used and brand new prom dresses for you to try on and take home. Come and shop and get a raffle ticket for a chance to win a free Manicure and pedicure.
Prom Dress Donations are also being accepted in room 147. See Ms. Lee with any questions.
Spring Musical Auditions
Auditions for this year’s production of Mama Mia at East Providence High School will take place on Monday, December 16th and 17th. Please see the document to the right for more information. All auditions will take place in the chorus room, on the second floor, Room 239.
Senior Portraits/ Yearbook Information
Attention Seniors - If you would like to be in the yearbook, this is your chance. Sessions will be held in the Aerobics room at the high school. If the location changes you will receive an email.

1st Quarter Ends, 2nd Quarter Begins!
1st quarter ends on Thursday, October 31. We begin 2nd Quarter on Friday, November 1!
Below are a few events & dates to take note of for the month of November:
1st Quarter REPORT CARD UPDATE – for EPHS:
Student Report Cards will be SENT HOME with students on Friday, November 8
*FRESHMAN will also be bringing home their RICAS scores from last year (8th grade)
Parent-Teacher Conferences – 2 opportunities (NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED)
Wednesday, November 13; 6-8pm
Thursday, November 14; 11:45am – 1:45pm
o This day will be a ½ day for ALL STUDENTS.
o The school day will end @ 10:30am for all students.
o Bag Lunches will be provided for any/all students to grab & go.
Remember, as we begin 2nd Quarter on November 2 – Social Probation statuses RESTART.
Therefore, all students begin with a clean slate!
Students will be placed on Social Probation once reaching:
o 6 ABSENCES
o 6 TARDIES
o 6 DISMISSALS
A few fun events occur in 2nd quarter that students do NOT want to miss out on:
Battle of the Classes – Monday, November 25
Possibly the Winter Ball (if not in 2nd Quarter – it will be in 3rd Quarter) – date TBA!

Important EPHS Athletic Update (Re: Scheduled Game Times and EEE Threat
The East Providence School Department has switched many of our outdoor activities and sports from evening to day as per the Rhode Island Department of Health recommended guidelines regarding the EEE threat. Friday night's football game could not be rescheduled to a day contest but the Pierce field area will be sprayed today to minimize the mosquito presence. Athletes, coaches and spectators are asked to wear long sleeved shirts and pants where possible and use insect repellent prior to and during the contest to minimize the risk of insect bites. Thank you.
Ceramics Pasta Dinner Fundraiser
Organized by Ms. Chapman's Ceramics students to give back to the community, on December 12 at the Senior Center we are holding a Pasta Dinner! Dinner will be served between 5pm-7:30pm and all proceeds are being donated to Good Neighbors Soup Kitchen. See the flyer to the right for more details!

Per the school department, any student who has a negative balance with Chartwells (cafe/food) will NOT receive access to Skyward.
You may check a lunch balance or make payments via cash, check (to Chartwells) www.myschoolbucks.com.
Chartwells takes cash or checks as well.
