Congratulations to the HAWKSBILL SEA TURTLE for winning the 2026 Golden Moose Trophy in March Animal Madness!
In a truly epic battle, the Hawksbill Sea Turtle triumphed over MANY AWESOME contenders, indluing the Amur Leopard, Flying Fox Bat, Goeldi's Monkey, Immortal Jellyfish, Koala, Mountain Goat and Red Fox Siberian Tiger!
In a year where students reached ot to other schools, biologists, scientists, zoo employees and so much more, the most MAGICAL and EPIC March Animal Madness took place! A HUGE thank you to ALL students for their amazing contributions and research to teach you about some pretty cool animals!
On behalf of ALL members of the MAM team, we would like to give an EVEN BIGGER thank you to all of the schools who took part....tha amazing teachers who trusted us to educate and entertain you and your students so that we can better understand the natural world that exists around us, We TRULY hope that you learned a few things and most of all....learned, smiled and enjoyed learning science in some amazingly creative ways!
