Greenbrook Campus

Welcome to Epping Primary – Greenbrook Campus

Here at the Greenbrook Campus we are fortunate enough to be able to provide all the resource benefits of a larger school in an intimate, family – oriented setting. The fact that we are a campus of Epping Primary School give us access to full specialist programs in Visual Arts, Performing Arts and Physical Education, access to a variety of extra-curriculum activities such as Choir, Band and Energy Breakthrough, the ability to participate in inter-school sport and swimming and greater connection to the broader Epping community.

At Greenbrook we have six classrooms for 130 students in 6 classes, which allow each of us to get to know every child as an individual. The Greenbrook tradition of caring, community-based education continues every minute of every day as we work together with families and friends to provide the very best educational, social and emotional experience for all our children. We provide Before and After School Care which is operated by Camp Australia.

The school grounds are extensive and well maintained, with a variety of play environments including full size oval for major ball games such as football, soccer and softball, a large range of shaded modern play equipment, our much loved covered sand pit, large hard surface areas for kickball, handball, bat-tennis, skipping etc., and a huge variety of passive play area including two “cubby “trees.

In addition to our Specialist Programs, all children have access to Speech Therapy and Psychology services. We have a teacher for English as an Additional Language (EAL) and the Language Support Program (LSP) which is for students who speak little English and English speakers who need extra attention. Our campus-based Welfare Program includes a Leadership unit for older children and Special Development units in the younger years, plus access to individual counselling.

In 2016 we begun running a Social / Emotional Awareness program on a weekly basis with an emphasis in Mindfulness. We have found this to have quite a positive impact on our students who uphold a sense of unity and empathy.

In 2019 we will be implementing an Italian Cultural program in which students will learn a LOTE and learn about a culture which may be different to their own. We are proud of our multiculturalism and embrace change and diversity.

Prep enrolments are taken at any time of the year, as there is no “closing date” for enrolments in Victorian government schools. Please call the office on 9401 3256 to make an appointment for a tour. The Greenbrook Campus is situated between Peppercorn Parade and Lowalde Drive, with the main entrance for parent access on Lowalde Drive, right opposite the Greenbrook Kinder.

If you would like a tour of our school or have any questions, please do not hesitate to ring for an appointment or simply drop in. Every day is open day at Epping Primary School.

Looking forward to meeting you,
