EA Freedom gazette

Thank you to Hugh Anderson for designing our newspaper logo!

Freedom of the Press

The First Amendment of the Constitution provides for the freedom of the press. That means that media such as newspapers, books, TV, radio, and computer networks have the right to publish facts, ideas, and opinions without interference from the government. We know that with those rights comes responsibility as well- the responsibility to do research, properly quote and report information, proofread, consider our audience, and accept guidance from our team.

This year, we chose to focus our entire newspaper on the theme of freedom. We welcome you to read all about issues of freedom both past and present!

Meet the News Team

Dr. Tilles would like to thank the entire news team for their dedication, passion, and commitment to the team. We met weekly from December through May, working on articles between meetings and managing time to meet deadlines. Special shout out to our Core team members who continued to serve the Gazette remotely!
