RULES AND GUIDELINES FOR DIGITAL CENTOPOETRY PRESENTATION
WHAT IS CENTOPOETRY?
Centopoetry is a combination of lines from established poems, lyrics or stories used in a poem.
WHAT IS DIGITAL CENTOPOETRY?
Digital centopoetry involves transforming a centopoem into video form by adding visuals, music, narration and other multimedia elements in order to animate the poem.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
The poem must be authentically composed by the participant.
Plagiarised work will be disqualified.
The content of the poem must be appropriate.
The poem should not touch on any inappropriate or sensitive topics.
Participants must register on the Google Entry Form via the link provided below.
Participants must upload a video of their poem using the link given.
All participants are allowed to submit ONE (1) poem per entry.
By entering the competition, participants agree to abide by the rules of the competition.
PARTICIPANTS
Open to IPGK students only [individual category].
LENGTH OF VIDEO
Length of the video should not exceed 3 minutes.
SUBMISSION OF CENTOPOETRY VIDEO
Upload your video to YouTube.
Obtain a YouTube link.
Send us the link through the entry form below.
COMPETITION DURATION
13 July - 14 August 2023
Late entries will not be accepted under any circumstances.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE
Submit your competition entry forms by 4.30 p.m., 21 August 2023.
JUDGING
The judge's decision will be final, and no appeals will be considered.
Individual marks will not be disclosed.
CERTIFICATES
All participants will receive a certificate of participation to be sent to the email address indicated in the competitions entry form.
PRIZES
The winners will be announced via the website on Wednesday 30 August 2023.
Medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners.
The prize giving ceremony will be held on Friday, 15 September 2023.
If you are unable to attend the ceremony, please inform us by Wednesday 13 September.
We will send the prizes via post to you.
