As our district rolls out our 1:1 Technology Initiative, the IT Department plays a few major roles:

• Provide technology-based professional development for teachers, staff, and administration

• Assist classroom teachers with designing and implementing effective formative activities that utilize multiple forms of technologies, or educational tools and resources all while increasing student engagement

• Identify and model best practices associated with the district's technology integration plan and meet regularly with staff and administration to use technology to support differentiated learning

• Lead a District Technology Team focused on gathering and interpreting data regarding the efficacy of the district's technology implementation plan
