DRIMIA MARITIMA
Ich möchte Ihnen über eine sehr interessante Pflanze berichten. Ihr Name ist Drimia Maritima und sie ist eine schöne und typische Pflanze aus Almería.
Die Geschichte dieser Pflanze wird von den meisten Leuten nicht bewusst, aber sie wurde seit langer Zeit von Einheimischen der Region benutzt.
Man kann die Pflanze Drimia maritima in trockenen Tälern und in den Bergen finden.
Es ist erstaunlich, dass diese Pflanze sehr giftig ist. Aus diesem Grund wurde sie als natürliche Methode verwendet, um viele Krankheiten zu behandeln, aber der nützlichste Einsatz war der als Insektizid.
Wenn sie im Sommer blüht, hat sie einen über einen Meter hohen Stängel mit wunderschönen weißen und gelben Blüten.
Leider müssen wir bis zum Sommer warten, um ihre schönen Blüten zu sehen. Dennoch gibt es Hunderte von Bildern im Internet.

Questi insetti sono capaci di difendere le piante da altri nemici.
Una pianta con insetti, senza prodotti chimici, è una pianta in buona salute e più sicura per il nostro consumo.

Sie heißt Fusa und wurde vor fünf Jahren von meiner Familie aus einem Tierheim adoptiert. Sie ist barsch, während du sie streichelst, betrügt sie dich. Trotzdem lieben wir unsere Katze. Sie ist nicht nur ein geliebtes Mitglied unserer Familie, sondern auch die unangefochtene Chefin des Hauses!

A Betty non piacciono gli inverni.
Fra qualche giorno accenderemo il camino di casa, in campagna si sentiranno presto il freddo e l'umidità. Subito dopo, si avvicinerà al fuoco Betty , la nostra barboncina di sedici anni . Lei vede molto male e sente peggio, però finora gioca con gli altri cani quando è di buonumore. Nessuno è capace di accostarsi al calore come lei lo fa ogni inverno.
Mai senza la sua borsetta
Ci piace fare colazione la domenica di buon'ora, con calma per evitare le folle , in questo modo riceviamo addirittura l'attenzione preferenziale dei camerieri. Donatella lo sa in anticipo, anzi il giorno prima , e quando si sveglia non sta nella sua pelle in attesa che la porta si apra. Arriviamo in fretta e furia , ma lei non potrebbe mai dimenticare la sua borsetta.
Palme e neve, sul serio ?
Le palme stavano guardando la neve di Sierra Alhamilla, consapevoli che questo evento si svolge una volta ogni morte di papa. Nessuna poteva parlare in quella fredda mattinata di fronte a quello spettacolo. Dopo qualche minuto, una delle più vecchie disse, " noi viviamo di solito senz'acqua e tutti voi avete avuto la fortuna di vedere quella che ci arriverà nei prossimi anni. Guardatela bene, poiché sparirà in un batter d’occhio"
Fichi d'India
È da ormai un bel po' che i fichi d'India sono quasi scomparsi dal paesaggio di Almeria, a causa della piaga della cocciniglia del carminio. I bellissimi frutti di queste piante, tipiche dell'Africa settentrionale e dell'Europa meridionale, sono stati cibo principale per le persone e gli animali per tantissimi anni. Sbucciarli non era facile e bisognava mangiarli in un modo particolare , tuttavia erano un piacere e un lusso selvaggio e gratuito.
Gli amici verdi
Loro sono sempre stati nella tenuta , generazioni successive di questa specie di draghetti venuti dalla antichità , che vivono sugli alberi. Non saprei dire quanti ce ne sono, poiché sono davvero timidi. A volte si fanno vedere mentre si godono il sole o cercano l'amore . I loro movimenti sono eleganti e precisi, sono i nostri amici verdi.
Spine e fiori
Perfino negli ecosistemi più aridi e inospitali del mondo, come nel deserto di Almería, la natura è in grado de creare vita esuberante. Questi cactus pieni di spine ci regalano due o tre giorni di fiori all'anno, essendo un grido di incredibile bellezza , indimenticabile e probabilmente disperato.
Bambini pericolosi
Questi ragazzini hanno appena tre anni , appartengono a una delle razze più prestigiose e antiche di tori da corrida, la cosiddetta Vega-Villar. La sua apparenza simile a quella delle mucche da latte non deve farci sbagliare, loro sono proprio pericolosi. Non mi hanno permesso avvicinarmi di più per fare la fotografia , la loro aria minacciosa fu sufficiente.
Riunione dei coinquilini
Non ci riuniamo spesso, soltanto i giorni di forte pioggia, che non abbiamo così spesso come vorremmo ad Almería. Il resto del tempo ciascuno di noi fa un po' come gli pare nel suo spazio. Gli umani ci hanno fatto entrare nella casa e sono rimasti pure con noi, in silenzio, guardando assorti delle immagini o i loro oggetti di carta . Oggi non è voluta venire Loba, il mastino giovane che ama il freddo, tanto per cambiare...

Letzten Frühling habe ich die Mandelblüten zum ersten Mal gesehen und mich direkt in sie verliebt. Sie erinnern mich sehr an die Sakura: unglaublich schön, aber leider blühen sie nur für kurze Zeit in voller Blüte. Da sie die ersten Blumen sind, die nach dem Winter erscheinen, gelten sie als Symbol für Hoffnung und Neubeginn.

“Uno sguardo intenso”
Quando la luce la toccava, i suoi occhi, che avevano colori splendidi e luminosi. Toccarla era un piacere, era morbida e sentire il suo ron ron era una delizia. Era calma, dolce e un po’misteriosa.
Guardarla faceva sentire pace e amore. Una gatta davvero speciale, con uno sguardo che non si dimentica.
A volte penso che si sentiva come una “ Regina”, andava dritta e fiera, con la sua coda lunga e pelosa tesa.
“Un abbraccio dolce”
Dorme tranquillo con il suo peluche preferito, come un bambino. Sembra così dolce e sereno che viene voglia di abbracciarlo. Nei suoi sogni forse corre, gioca o semplicemente sente il calore dell’amore che lo circonda. Un momento di pace e tenerezza pura.
Lui non è un gatto tranquillo, è molto difficile vederlo così. Gli piace bere da tutti i bicchieri d’acqua, non se ne può lasciare nessuno in vista, perché a volte li fa cadere a terra.

Les roses. Des fleurs toujours associées à l'amour romantique de l'époque victorienne. Leur parfum délicat a inspiré de nombreux parfums. Elles existent en plusieurs couleurs, chacune symbolisant un sentiment..
Les rouges symbolisent la passion et sont le cadeau phare de la Saint-Valentin qui approche.
Les blanches symbolisent la pureté.

Certaines personnes pensent que nous sommes leurs animaux de compagnie plutôt qu'ils ne sont les nôtres. Adorés dans l'Égypte antique, ils sont aujourd'hui présents dans tous les foyers. Descendants d'Anubis, ces deux petits surveillent la porte des « Enfers ».

Half in the water and half on the shore - my dog´s favourite position. He looks exactly where he belongs. The sun is bright, and its light reflects on the sea behind him. Do you think he is stressed? ;)

Dana, the hiker-dog.
I could never have imagined that such a tiny, apparently fragile dog, would become my inspiration on hiking trips.
Whether climbing steep paths or winding down coastal trails, Dana moves steadily forward. She carries her 3-kilo body across fields, plains and hills - never barking in complaint, never giving up.
I follow her with joy - sometimes voicing my own complaints ... but never giving up.
I can't wait for our next walk!

Flamingos in Cabo de Gata. Like dancers, they move their legs to obtain their food, crustaceans such as shrimp and algae, which give their wings their pink colour.

Flamingo di Cabo de Gata. Proprio come i ballerini, muovono le zampe per procurarsi il cibo, crostacei come gamberetti e alghe, che sono quelli che danno loro quel colore rosa delle ali.

Auf diesem Bild ist ein Goldbaumsteiger (Dendrobates auratus) zu sehen. Dieses Foto entstand im Juli 2025 im Aquarium Poema del Mar in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Weitere Frösche derselben Art waren zudem in Rot und Gelb zu sehen. Leider ist die Bildqualität eingeschränkt, da die Frösche sich in einem Terrarium hinter besonders dickem Glas befanden. Außerdem bewegten sich die Frösche ständig und es war schwierig, sie zu fotografieren. Ich war ziemlich überrascht, dass im Aquarium giftige Frösche gehalten wurden. Dennoch liebe ich alle Frösche und freute mich, sie mit meiner Kamera festhalten zu können.

Without insects, our ecosystem would collapse and human life would be impossible. Insects provide food, recycle organic matter, regulate energy and nutrient flows, shape landscapes, and offer essential services for humans. Even insects we often find annoying, such as flies, contribute to maintaining the balance of our ecosystem, although I do not like them either. We must protect our Earth from harmful environmental influences in order to halt the decline of insect populations.

Flowers & Succulents
Flowers delight people of all ages. The sight of morning dew on a succulent, as well as the way succulents can be used as landmarks in urban spaces, is beautiful and makes me feel happy.
Pets improve human well-being by helping us feel better, encouraging physical activity, and making us laugh with their behaviour. Although life without animals is possible, it would be meaningless to me. Wild animals can also bring us joy, and afterwards they are free to return to their natural habitats.

FREESIA REFRACTA
These are flowers I have in my terrace. They are one of my favourite flowers. Its name is Freesia Refracta. It comes from South Africa.
This flower has a long, greenish stem with multiple flowers in different colours.
I like it because it is beautiful, colorful and it smells so good!
In the last few years, they used to bloom in January. However, this year they are blooming now, in February, due to colder weather.
I took the first photo last week, and the second one some days later. I love observing this change and I wanted to share it with you.

La petite reine de la maison.
Je vous présente la petite reine de la maison.
C’est une lapine bélier très câline qui adore jouer, faire de longues siestes au soleil et manger végétalien 😊
Elle est très propre et coquette : elle fait sa toilette plusieurs fois par jour devant le miroir.
Elle est belle, n’est-ce pas ?
D’autre part, je vais vous parler d’un autre être vivant qui dépend de moi. Et je dois avouer que je n’ai pas la main verte ; autrement dit, le jardinage et moi, ça fait deux ! C’est pourquoi je suis particulièrement fière d’avoir réussi à garder en vie mon petit arbuste tropical au feuillage coloré, connu sous le nom de croton, qui me fait penser à l’automne.

"Wenn Liebe wächst … und Tiere sie sichtbar machen”
Meine Herkunft aus einer Landwirtsfamilie im Nacimiento-Tal zwischen Sierra Nevada und Sierra de los Filabres hat meine Beziehung zu Pflanzen und Tieren geprägt. Dort wuchs ich zwischen Hühnern, Ziegen und Schafen auf, wodurch ich den Umgang mit Tieren lernte. Erst mit meinem Hund Nanouky und meiner Katze Nairo entdeckte ich meine tiefe Zuneigung zu Haustieren. Pflanzen nehmen jedoch die zentrale Rolle in meinem Leben ein: Sie bereichern meinen Alltag, denn ich verwende Kräuter zum Kochen und als natürlichen Insektenschutz, kultiviere Olivenbäume zur Ölgewinnung und widme mich besonderen Arten wie Amaryllis, Lilien und der Wüstenrose.
Almería mit seinen Parks und Stränden inspiriert mich zusätzlich. Besonders gerne fotografiere ich Naturräume und Tiere - immer achtsam und ohne sie zu stören.
