For the first time retired folk who are over 65 have an opportunity to increase their superannuation savings without all the drama of work tests and contribution limits, but there are rules which may not open the door to everyone.....
If for some reason you need more than 90 days to place your contribution, you may request an extension of time. This may not always be granted and the extension must be made within the 90 day period, but if for reasons outside of your control, you are delayed, it is worth contacting the ATO.
