Introduction
The AI-Mediated Learning and CSCL Lab focuses on understanding how artificial intelligence reshapes learning processes in digital environments. Building on the foundations of computer-supported collaborative learning (CSCL) and the learning sciences, our research examines how AI functions as an active mediator in learning—supporting, interacting with, and co-constructing knowledge alongside learners. We investigate instructional agents, student–AI collaboration, and interactive learning processes across diverse contexts, with the aim of advancing theory, informing design, and enhancing meaningful learning experiences in AI-integrated environments.
