Military Family Registration

Eisenhower Elementary School wants to help your family transition to Vance Air Force Base and Enid, Oklahoma.

Eisenhower Elementary School is located at Vance Air Force Base and is an intricate part of Enid Public Schools. This campus houses Pre-k through 5^th Grade. Registration is completed through our Welcome Center located in the Administration Services Building at 500 South Independence Ave, they can be reached by phone at 580-366-7100 or by email at welcome@enidk12.org.

Eisenhower Elementary School is proud to offer extra support to our Military Families. The school's designated point of contact is School Counselor, Sheri Ingham ( smingham@enidk12.org ). Mrs. Ingham builds relationships as the School Counselor and assists military-connected students with the unique challenges these students experience. The secondary POC would be our Principal Dr. Lyntel Murphy ( lamurphy@enidk12.org ).

Eisenhower Elementary School has a student leadership team to assist our new military-connected students. New students will be paired with an older student who will welcome the new student to our school, show them around on a tour, and help them build new relationships. The new students are invited to a Newcomer's Welcome (Fall is a "Watermelon Welcome" and Winter is a "Hot Cocoa Gathering"). It is a fun time for everyone. The students introduce themselves and share where they moved from and pose questions or concerns if they want.

The Eisenhower PTO aims to provide a variety of outreach events and support for military families. Past events and future events planned include Military parent coffee hour, Purple Up Day! Celebration, Month of the Military Child, Special military student breakfasts and lunch, ice cream social for Valentine's Day, glow run, and more!

To help make your transition easier, at Vance Air Force Base, Department of Defense (DOD) employees provide a School Liaison Officer or a point of contact. School Liaison Officers are the primary contact for school-related matters and assist military families with school issues. The Airmen & Family Readiness Center is the POC for School Liason and the Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) it is located in Bldg 314 (580) 213-6330. www.vance71fss.com/airmanfamily.
