Personal Financial Literacy

Personal Financial Literacy (PFL) is a one-semester course based on Colorado PFL Standards and will provide a foundational understanding for making informed financial decisions. Students will learn how choices influence occupational options and future earning potential. Students will also begin to develop skills to create a budget, understand how to manage their money in the banking system, make wise spending, saving, and credit choices, and evaluate and understand insurance and taxes. This course will start students on a path toward being in control of their financial future.
