ABOUT MR. LEIKER

I am entering my 11th year here teaching at EMS/ELA. I truly love teaching and working with all the students. Being a teacher is my small way of trying to make the world a better place. I have always been an active person, growing up I played all kinds of sports including: football, basketball, baseball, and ran track. I have a wonderful family, my wife and I have been married for 17 years and we have a child who is 11 years old and entering 5th grade. I really want every student to learn how to be physically active and healthy, that is why I teach PE.

ABOUT PE CLASS

It is the unique role of quality physical education programs to help all students develop health-related fitness, physical competence, cognitive understanding and positive attitudes about physical activity so that they can adopt a healthy and physically active lifestyle.
