The Southern California Design (SCD) Company is a product development consulting firm that specializes in product design, development, marketing, and engineering. The president of the company, Travis Downing, and their team is looking to re-evaluate and re-design lighting systems for cyclists and mountain bikers. Currently, SCD has developed a combination of handlebar lights, called the HiLine Trio, to illuminate trails for riders. This set of handlebar lights are designed to provide adequate lighting for bikers by illuminating trails and roads while riding in the dark. To accompany the HiLine Trio, SCD is looking to develop a lightweight and compact helmet task light that will provide the user with close-range illumination.
HiLine Trio Handlebar Lights
The objective of this project is to design a sleek, low-profile helmet light that will provide close-range illumination allowing the rider to facilitate on-the-spot adjustments, field repairs, bike maintenance, and other actions under low-light conditions.
