Milligan Site Elementary Music (Grades 3-6)

We will learn to read music and play the recorder without a mouthpiece at school during the 2020-2021 school year. Each student will also have a recorder and book at home to practice.

All Recorder Karate tests will be submitted via flipgrid videos. There are a total of 9 karate belts. I will post the passed belts at school and on this website.

Practice time of 30 minutes/week will be required while we are learning the recorders. This will help the students to improve more quickly and give them an idea what being in the band is like. Students will be able to submit their practice time on Canvas. We will take care of this during class.
