Exeter-Milligan Band History

The Exeter and Milligan bands merged in the fall of 2001. The school consolidated in the fall of 2002. New band uniforms were purchased in 2002.

The senior high band performed at the Nebraska Music Educators Association in November of 2004 under the direction of Mrs. Stacy Bean.

The 6th grade band performed at the Nebraska State Capitol for Music Appreciation Month in March of 2009 under the direction of Mrs. Angie Murphy.

The band for the consolidated school was split into 7-8 and 9-12 until the spring of 2014. The current JH-SH Band set-up was established in the fall of 2014.

2014 was the last year the band attended the MUDECAS music contest.

Due to the covid-19 pandemic of 2020, the students did not have the opportunity to attend District Music Contest.
