Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in the price?
The trip price includes all flights, buses, trains, and boats (if applicable), as well as hotels, breakfast and dinner each day, museum and attraction entrance tickets, a full-time tour director, local guides, and support from EF while we are traveling. Lunches and souvenirs are NOT included.
Who are the chaperones?
SEMHS trips are chaperoned by certificated staff (teachers) from the El Monte Union High School District.
Can parents come? What about older or younger siblings?
As these are student trips, they are open to current SEMHS students only.
What about COVID-19?
The safety and health of our students while traveling is the most important thing. We will not travel if it is not safe to do so. As our trip nears, if it seems as though summer travel will not be possible, we will reschedule our trip for a later date and students and their families will be able to choose from EF's rescheduled trip options.
