Empower Schools is a national leader in developing and sustaining empowered district school models that provide formalized autonomy and flexibility for schools so they can tailor their programs to the specific needs of their students. 

Empower Schools brings over a decade of experience helping local leaders reinvent their schools and school systems. Empower brings expertise and experience around developing formal autonomy arrangements and MOUs, durable and shared governance structures, and the district policies, systems, and change management necessary to support adoption of empowered conditions and approaches to school design and continuous improvement. 

Teacher-Powered Schools is a national expert in supporting and inspiring teacher teams in leveraging collective autonomy and increasing their collective efficacy. Launched in 2014, Teacher-Powered Schools, a program of the nonprofit Education Evolving, works with school teams to build the capacity of educator teams to design and run student-centered schools with expanded definitions of distributed leadership and shared power.

Teacher-Powered Schools coaches teams on shifting mindsets, establishing technical skills, and using proven practices to design and run teacher-powered schools. Teacher-Powered Schools is a project of Education Evolving, a nonprofit organization in Minneapolis, MN.
