KFTA Alumni Preservice Teacher Workshop

Presenter Information

With over 20 years experience in education, Jennifer Holt, more commonly know just as Jen, is well respected by her peers and students alike. She’s warm and is quick to connect with all she works with, always willing to roll up her sleeves and help out. Jennifer, a National Board Certified Teacher, is passionate about literacy and technology integration. She’s served in a wide variety of roles including classroom teacher, technology integration specialist, instructional coach, curriculum coach, and local teacher’s association president. In her book 12 Principles of a Dandelion Teacher she captures years of experience and wisdom about how to navigate the word of education into a straightforward, plain language synthesis.

Workshop Overview

KFTA Alumni who are preservice teachers enrolled in a teacher education program will engage in a series of three 90-minute virtual workshops focusing and engaging in the 12 principles of a Dandelion Teacher.

  • February 11, 4:30-6:00pm (CST)

  • February 18, 4:30-6:00pm (CST)

  • February 25, 4:30-6:00pm (CST)

The above workshop sessions will be hosted on Zoom. Participants will receive a personalized signed copy of Jen Holt's book 12 Principles of a Dandelion Teacher.
