Health Professions Advising at William and Mary

Dr. Beverly Sher

I am William & Mary's Chief Health Professions Advisor. I am also a Senior Lecturer in the Chemistry Department. In addition to my advising responsibilities, I teach a number of courses, including my long-running writing-intensive COLL 150 course, CHEM 150: Emerging Diseases.

If you are a William & Mary pre-med student, pre-dental student, pre-pharmacy student, pre-veterinary student, pre-optometry student, or pre-podiatry student, and you would like some guidance, email me to set up an appointment to talk about your plans. I am also happy to assist high school students who are interested in William & Mary, as well as William & Mary alumni. My email address is, and my office is in ISC-3, room 2283.

The Kinesiology Department's Professor Ashleigh Queen advises pre-PA and pre-nursing students; Professor Evie Burnet, also in the Kinesiology Department, advises students interested in PT and OT.
