SARAH ROBERTS

Sarah Roberts is an Art History major from New Jersey. Her varied interests have led her to complete an independent research project on Japanese export lacquerware of the seventeenth century in 2019. After studying abroad in Amsterdam in early 2020, she began her honors thesis, entitled “Abraham Hondius’s Dog Market: Early Modern Animal Imagery in Transition.” Sarah’s lasting interest in the visual arts has also driven her to pursue studio art, and she hopes to continue her education with a graduate program in art conservation.
