Samantha Richardson

Samantha Richardson, They/She, is honored to portray a historical figure as incredible as Émilie. She will be joining the ranks of roles Samantha would perform again in a heartbeat alongside Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Eliante in School For Lies, and more. Samantha knows you want to research Émilie now but hopes you’ll wait ‘til after the show and give her the opportunity to tell you Émilie du Châtelet’s story first. VOLTAIRE
Erich Appleby

Erich Appleby, He/Him, is excited to be back on stage this fall. “I feel like this is one of the most passionate shows I’ve been a part of at Brightpoint,” says Erich Appleby. Erich is a 2nd year theatre performance major here at Brightpoint and is best known for his performances as Lysander in A Midsummer’s Night Dream, Farquaad Understudy & Ensemble in Shrek The Musical, and St(a)n (SATAN) in Call Me S(a)tan. Erich Appleby now dives into the world of the “Father Of Enlightenment” Voltaire as he truly discovers what it’s like to be completely alone.

Joshua Shay

Joshua Shay, He/Him, is entirely thrilled to be back in another Brightpoint production. This is Joshua’s second semester at Brightpoint where he’s been part of the cast for both Shrek The Musical, and the one-act, Sorry, Wrong Number. He has also had a very thorough position at Cosby High School in Midlothian. Joining a variety of casts in such ensemble and character roles in productions like The Addams Family Musical, 42nd Street, Ten ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse, and Property Rights. Josh sends much love to his family and friends, especially to his grandfather David.

Gabriel Laurent

Gabriel Laurent, He/Him, is ecstatic to be working with all the cast and crew in his first production with The Lynn Theater. Gabriel has enjoyed working with the director and all of the cast. He has also learned a lot from all of them.

Ariana Silva

Ariana Silva, They/She, is so grateful and lucky to be a part of such a wonderful and exciting production. Recently, they made their debut at The Lynn Theatre in Shrek the Musical. They would like to thank their friends and dog, Gonzo, for the never ending support.

Jordan Pruitt

Jordan Pruitt, She/Her, is greatly enjoying her third semester here at Brightpoint studying film, and is thrilled to star as both Pauline and Millie in Legacy of Light as her first college production! She would like to thank her family, who continue to encourage her to try new things.

Macaulay Owens

Macaulay Owens, He/Him, is excited to be in his first production, Legacy of Light, written by Karen Zacarias and directed by Zach Owen. This is his third semester at Brightpoint and he will be receiving his Associates of Fine Arts at the end of this semester. His interests are acting, music, fitness, and film. Macaulay would like to thank his parents, Keith and Kathy Owens for their guidance, support, and endless love.

PRODUCING ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
Kerrigan Sullivan

Kerrigan Sullivan, She/Her, is currently the Department Chair of Performing Arts at Brightpoint and the Producing Artistic Director of The Lynn Theatre. Kerrigan has been in well over a hundred plays since she began her career at the age of six. Some favorite professional credits include A Christmas Carol at Madison Square Garden, The Batman Forever Stunt Show at Six Flags Great Adventure, Sex and the City and Guiding Light. In addition to her performing credits, she has directed in and around New York City at various venues and assisted Artistic Director Julianne Boyd at The Barrington Stage Company.Locally, Kerrigan was recently seen as Becky in Becky’s New Car at CAT Theatre, Sybil in Count Dracula at Swift Creek Mill, Callie in Wishing Well at CAT Theatre, Dinah in The Quality of Life at HATTheatre (RTCC nomination for Best Ensemble), and as Gene Stratton Porter in a one woman show A Song in the Wilderness. Recent local directing credits include Wings (RTCC nomination for Best Director), The Fourth Wall and This World We Know at Firehouse Theatre Project. Kerrigan holds a B.F.A. from NYU’s Tisch School for the Arts and a M.F.A. from Brooklyn College.

Zachary Owen

Zack Owen, He/Him, is ecstatic to be back at The Lynn Theatre. After previously directing The Lynn Theatre production of Fear and Misery in the Third Reich, his production company, Wishing Wind Creations, produced Miss Witherspoon and La Rhonda in collaboration with The Lynn Theatre in 2019 and 2020 respectively. He has also directed at Hattheatre (Creating Claire) and CAT Theatre (Wishing Well, The Diviners, Art of Murder). When not directing, Zack enjoys performing close-up magic, and taking care of his sweet pup Ayla.

Russell Paulette

Russell Paulette, He/Him, has directed numerous one-acts and musicals for high school audiences. Some of his previous productions competed in the Virginia High School League's One-Act Theatre festival, earning several acting and directing accolades, including the 2016-2017 Group 1A State Runner-Up for his original one-act, Thieves of Mercy. A one-time playwriting finalist for New Voices for the Theatre, another of Russell’s one-acts, The Blue and the Grey, is published by Theatrefolk Ltd.

Grace LaBelle, She/They, is excited to be a continued collaborator with The Lynn Theatre! She has been an active member of the RVA theatre community for the past 5 years and has worked with companies and venues such as The Perkinson Center, Swift Creek Mill, Firehouse Theatre, Virginia Repertory Theatre, Richmond Triangle Players, Cadence Theatre, and more as a Production Stage Manager, Assistant Director, Wardrobe, Foley Artist, and Sound and Lighting Designer & Technician. Upcoming productions include Ghost Quartet (Production Stage Manager/Sound Engineer; Firehouse Theatre) and Jump Baby (Sound Designer/Sound Engineer, The Lynn Theatre).

Lindsey Ladnier

Lindsey Ladnier, She/Her, is an experienced costume designer and an adjunct professor in costume construction as well as theatrical makeup. Her most recent works include Legacy of Light and Shrek the Musical. She welcomed her second daughter, Violet Josephine, this last spring. Josie was delighted to support the show by providing a few baby-related props.

Claire Bronchick

Claire Bronchick, They/Them, is delighted to be back with the Lynn Theatre this season. Recent performances in Richmond include All's Well That Ends Well (Quill), The Last Cyclist (Jewish Family Theatre) and Christmas Kaddish (RTP; Artsies Nomination for Best Lead in a Musical). Claire is also a costume designer, working with RTP on their productions of The Pink Unicorn and Stonewallin'. They are a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, majoring in Theatre and French, and they studied at L’École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris, France.
