Losing You

My piece was inspired by the song "Lose You Now" by Lindsey Stirling and Mako. The song starts off with a violin. As the song progresses the singer is talking about losing someone they care about and the importance of the person they love. It is a passionate song that resonates with the listener as a tale of heartbreak and romance. I created this artwork with Photoshop. I choose to have this a piece that you can interpret in different ways depending on how you view the song. A viewer can see this as a woman being out of reach of their lover’s hands, falling through someone’s grasp, or her falling in a dream and the violinist playing behind her in the background of the treachery befallen her.
