Emma Rambo, she/they (Stheno) is thrilled to be working with an amazing group of people for this new production of Small Quiet Good. She’s acted in several shows at Brightpoint, including Alice by Heart, John Proctor is the Villain, and Macbeth. While she loves performing, Emma has also taken on the role of technical producer of House of Avan Theater Company where they’ve produced a night of new works and are stage managing their youth production of Wizard of Oz this summer. On weekends, catch them performing improv at CSz Richmond Theater!
Sara Heifetz, she/her (Euryale)
Melissa Johnston Price (Chorus) is the 2014 recipient of the Teresa Pollack Award for Excellence in the Performing Arts and has been in over 100 regional productions in a career spanning 45 years. She was last seen in the all-female re-enactment of the Second Virginia Convention at St. John’s Church as well as Richmond Shakespeare’s production of The Father. She portrayed Bonnie in Virginia Rep’s world premiere of Bo Wilson’s Bonnie and Claire. She has also been seen in Richmond Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew (Baptista), and Pride and Prejudice (Mrs. Bennett). Melissa was honored to be among the first actors to perform on the RTP stage as Ruth in Facing East. She counts among her favorite roles: Barbara in August: Osage County with Cadence/Virginia Rep (winner: Best Actress Richmond Theatre Critics Circle Award) and Eleanor of Aquitaine in The Lion in Winter (nominated: RTCC Best Actress) and Joyce in 5th Wall’s Body Awareness playing opposite Sara Heifetz and Chandler Hubbard.
Raegan Eide, she/they (Choir/Medusa Understudy) is excited to be part of their third Brightpoint production! She is a soon to be Liberal Arts graduate with plans to join VCU’s theater department next spring. Rae has previously participated in multiple Clover Hill High School productions since 2022, played a handful of roles in Brightpoint’s rendition of Macbeth, and recently portrayed Rosa Bud in another Brightpoint production, The Mystery of Edwin Drood. She has an ever growing theatrical background and is looking forward to expanding it further!
Niki Schemmel, she/her is excited to make a return to the stage! She studied at The Groundlings and performed with Theatre Neo in Los Angeles back in her 20's. Since moving to Richmond she has been teaching yoga and SoulShine dance while raising her two awesome kids. She is a current student at Brightpoint and is grateful to be learning the art of theatre again in such a supportive environment. Niki is thrilled to be a part of this meaningful new work with this fantastic cast and crew!
Cheri Briggs, she/her (Stheno Understudy, Choir Swing) is happy to be a part of this production. Her most recent role in the Lynn Theater was as Ensemble in The Mystery of Edwin Drood. She is grateful for the opportunity to work with such a talented cast and crew.
Kerrigan Sullivan (Director, Choreographer, Producing Artistic Director) is currently the Department Chair of Performing Arts at Brightpoint Community College and the Producing Artistic Director of The Lynn Theatre at Brightpoint. She has been teaching theatre and communication courses at the college for 22 years now, since moving from New York City to Virginia. Prior to landing in Virginia, she worked as an actress for years in New York City and regionally in theatre, film and television. A few favorites are A Christmas Carol at Madison Square Garden, The Batman Forever Stunt Show at Six Flags Great Adventure, Sex and the City and Guiding Light. Kerrigan has directed locally with CAT and Firehouse Theatre Project as well as in and around New York City at various venues including The Producers Club, Samuel Beckett Theater, Raw Space, NADA, Expanded Arts, The Riant and Northern Westchester Center for the Arts to name a few. As intimacy director, Kerrigan received training from TIE (Theatrical Intimacy Education) and is working towards full certification as an intimacy educator and advocate. Kerrigan holds a B.F.A. in Theatre from New York University’s Tisch School for the Arts and an M.F.A. in Theatre Directing from Brooklyn College.

Alleigh Scantling (Production Stage Manager, Lighting Designer) is deeply honored to be a part of the world premiere of this beautiful and poignant piece of theatre. A Richmond-area production manager and lighting designer, Alleigh spent the better part of a decade at the Lynn Theatre at Brightpoint Community College - and while she has since moved on to serve as Production Manager at the Perkinson Center for the Arts & Education, she returns often to teach and mentor - her students remain some of her favorite people. She is passionate about supporting and educating the next generation of theatre artists. Recent professional credits include PSM for Gabriel (The Perkinson Center), and lighting design for Dinner with Friends (CAT), Gabriel (ATLAS/Hanover Tavern), and Lifespan of a Fact (CAT). Favorite Brightpoint credits include (but are not limited to): Alice by Heart, Jump Baby, Hawk's Ridge, Once on This Island, and John Proctor is the Villain. Some of his most recent theatre credits include Murder on the Orient Express (Virginia Rep), Our Dear Dead Drug Lord (5th Wall Theatre), and The Rocky Horror Show (Richmond Triangle Players / Richmond Symphony).
