This painting is part of my roots. I grew up in Andalucia, the South of Spain. I danced myself in many small-town festivals and enjoyed watching other flamenco dancers. I want to share with my artwork the beauty and passion of my culture. It took me many years to listen to my inside passion. Many Brightpoint students are here on the path of finding themselves and finding that passion that moves them toward a successful, happy life. My flamenco dancer is all about listening to your inside gut and going for it fiercely.
