All classes are conducted in 7.5 week sessions, with the exception of the Capstone and Internship which are allocated for the full semester (15 weeks).

Prior to beginning the Early Childhood Core (EC Core) you should complete a minimum of nine credits or three foundation courses. For many of you, courses completed at the community college level might transfer and address this requirement. Please speak with an academic adviser.

The BAS Core includes 15 units addressing English, Math, Ethics, Research Design, and Critical Thinking. These classes are offered most semesters as well as over the summer. A recommended schedule of courses is provided for you at the bottom of this page.
