Vision statement:
To introduce students to a balanced literacy and technology curriculum that supports students’ growth and interests as well as preparing them with important application and research skills within a warm, welcoming environment.
Library Staff:
Mrs. Donna Fife- Library Media Specialist
After a career in the corporate sector, Mrs. Fife chose to follow her passion for books and education by becoming a school librarian. She earned her Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the Palmer School of Library and Information Science in 2005 and holds New York State certification as a K–12 Library Media Specialist.
Mrs. Fife enjoys reading, traveling, and bike riding in her free time.
She is in the Boyd Intermediate School Library on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursday mornings.

Mrs. Deborah Hemphill- Teacher
Mrs. Hemphill is new to the library team. She is excited to split her time between the Science Lab and the library, her two biggest passions. Mrs. Hemphill enjoys the beach, jazzercise and cooking.
Mrs. Hemphill is in the Boyd Library on Thursday afternoons.

Ms. Christine Boschi- Library Assistant
Mrs. Boschi loves to hike, try new foods and compare and contrast books to their movies. The Harry Potter series and the How To Train Your Dragon series are her favorites!
