MEET RALUCA!
Hi there, my name is Raluca (She/Her) and I’ve lived in Ottawa my whole life. I’ve been at Elmwood for 10 years now and music is one of my favourite subjects. Some of my favourite things include reading, writing songs, and travelling, especially to tropical places. I’m also a competitive rower on the Elmwood team!
I’ve been playing the piano since I was seven years old, and I mainly learn the songs I enjoy listening to. I also have some knowledge of guitar and love to sing as well!

ELSA'S THEME
This character theme is written for Elsa from the 2013 Disney movie Frozen. I specifically chose to create this theme for young Elsa, because I wanted to express the playful and exuberant feel that she had when exploring her magical powers. To capture these elements, I incorporated both harp and violin instruments in my motif to give the composition a light and lively texture. I also composed it in a medium tempo to give the piece a balanced feel.
